Elanders meets the future
Elanders meets the future through integration.
In order to meet the growing market demand in the region and strengthen our position as the leading Nordic infomedia group Elanders will build a new plant in western Sweden. The new infomedia house will be a platform for the future and a base for Elanders' expansion in Europe.
Construction will begin in July in the Mölnlycke Business Park on the outskirts of Gothenburg. Elanders' investment in a western infomedia house will result in a high-tech, 12,000 m2 building that will be ready to move into December 2003. The building contractor will be a large construction firm with whom Elanders will sign a long-term lease.
The purpose of an infomedia house is to create added value for Elanders’ customers, stimulate and motivate employees and augment profits through the opportunities arising from the combined resources of the five companies housed there. Together Elanders Digitaltryck, Elanders Graphic Systems, Elanders Novum, Elanders Svenskt Tryck and Repronik cover the entire value chain offered in the Master Vendor concept. These operations will leave their current locations and move into the new plant.
A consolidated working place means maximum capacity utilisation, optimised production and provides the best possible conditions for creating full service solutions. Other advantages will come from reduced environmental impact, streamlined administration and a higher level of IT security.
