Working with Elanders - what you need to know

This section outlines everything you need to know about working with Elanders, including how to apply and what type of roles we recruit.

1. What types of roles do we recruit at Elanders UK?

Here at Elanders UK we have three sites and our headquarters is based in Newcastle, in the North East of England. This houses our main production facility as well as onsite departments including Sales, Client Services, IT, Finance, HR, and Marketing. However we also employ a number of Sales and Business Development employees who work remotely from all over the UK.

In addition to our Newcastle headquarters, we also have a small warehouse facility in Birmingham which services our automotive clients, as well as a site in Cumbernauld, Glasgow, which services the Scottish whisky industry.

Across our three sites we have numerous employees working in a variety of roles. In production, we have roles in planning and forecasting, management, litho print, digital print, finishing and bindery, pre-press, fulfilment, despatch and warehousing.

In our offices, we employ a range of roles, from management, new business, client services, human resources, finance and accounts,  to IT-related roles including systems developers, network support, pre-media and cross-media, as well as sales executives and business development managers.

2. How to apply for a role at Elanders UK

All available roles can be viewed on our website  under the current vacancies section. All applications require a CV and an attached covering letter. These can be emailed or sent by post to the HR department at the North Tyneside address.

Some roles are advertised on various online portals including Linkedin, jobsite, Reed and other websites, in which CVs can be uploaded. However these differ depending on the role. Nonetheless it is still useful to send your application directly to the Human Resources Department.

If you’re application is being handled through a head-hunter or recruitment consultant, you do not need to send a CV directly to us.

3. Hiring Process

The recruitment process differs according to the specified role. Every role will involve a CV screening, and a face to face interview with HR and the relevant departments’ representative. However for more senior positions, a second interview would take place. In some instances, a presentation to the board of directors and a profiling process against the job specification, will also be undertaken.
