Strategy and goals

Since the beginning of the 21st century Elanders has gone through an enormous transition from a traditional printing company with most of its business in Sweden to a global logistics group with operations on four continents. As a global logistics company, it has a citizen’s responsibility to work actively with social, ethical and environmentally-related issues.

Elanders’ materiality analysis and strategy consider risks, uncertainties and changes from a materiality perspective. It concerns both the physical environment characterized by climate change, changes in natural resource assets and disturbances in global value chains as well as the social environment where a transition to a more circular economy with lower carbon emissions is taking place. This entails making an adjustment to more sustainable company governance overall, along with different external expectations and demands. All these factors are weighed into the analysis and the compiled view of the risks the Group faces, and then taken into account in Elanders’ overriding business strategy and goals. This, in combination with a  solid sustainability work, creates greater shareholder value and added-value for all the company’s stakeholders – for customers as well as investors and society.

Elanders will take an active role in logistics decarbonization and help customers meet their obligations to reduce carbon emissions in their
supply chains.

As part of this, Elanders has committed to reduction targets for greenhouse gas emissions generated within the Group. The reduction targets are both short- and long term.

You can choose whether or not you wish to "accept only essential cookies," "accept all cookies" or if you wish to "save individual cookie settings" by selecting specific cookies in the accordion menu.

Granting consent to the use of non-essential cookies is voluntary. You can also change your settings at a later time via the "Cookie settings" button located in the page footer. Full details can be found in our Privacy Policy.

We use Google Analytics to obtain continuous analysis and statistical evaluation of the website in order to improve the website and the user experience.
